Downtown Forest Grove was taken over by not one but two alcohol fueled events this weekend and a lowrider car show. Spring 2024 Wine Walk presented by Assured Partners
kicked off the day along with Ridgewalker Brewing's Low Rider Car Show and Hot Sauce Series.
Later in the evening continued the frivolity with the Cinco De Mayo Bar Crawl.
The bar crawl included fifteen of Forest Grove's bars, restaurants and retail shops including the grand opening of the Red Rooster, Forest Grove's newest saloon. The Red Rooster was packed and the party spilled out the door as patrons waited patiently to enter the new drinking hole.
Our last stop of the evening was at Taqueria Corona on Main Street in Forest Grove where they serve platters overflowing with delicious Mexican food and giant beverages. We were serenaded by none other than the owner of Taqueria Corona herself, Maritza Osorio and her back up singer Don Oscar.
Besides all the music, food, drinks and fun we experienced we were also lucky enough to get a glimpse of Darth Vader in a Sombrero and a few Masked Wrestlers to celebrate Cinco de Mayo on May the 4th.
There is always so much to do in Forest Grove without even stepping out of Downtown. Visit our COMMUNITY CALENDAR to keep up on all the activities in Forest Grove.
